We quite often lament when we see the kids glued to the TV or mobile. And thus, as we watch a generation of children find entertainment in gadgets and technology, we cannot help wondering and remembering the games of yesteryears. Those were the traditional games that took up a large stock of our play time. They helped us learn about teamwork , honest deep friendships and many  more things. We were honoured to have Zeal Sports Director Mr.Sumit Nikam as a chief guest. The Principal of Silver Crest School Anuja Yerudkar Madam came up with a unique idea of celebrating National Sports Day by playing traditional games for about a week , this helped everyone to get  acquainted with  traditional games and live the golden era of the olden days with great enthusiasm.The games included : Vitty dandu, Ubhi kusti, Lagori, Sagar gota, marbles, Majhya aaicha patra haravla,etc.The Founder Director Katkar Sir and Secretary Jayesh Sir appreciated the activity and encouraged the students to encompass sports with our traditional games.
