Press made impress
Newspaper is quite a powerful tool that circulates information to people. It is one of the greatest means of communication between people and the world.
To create awareness of reading Zeal Education Society’s Silver Crest School planned a press visit to “Dainik Lokmat”.
This educational visit started with a briefing of the overall functions of a newspaper such as gathering news, financial model, hierarchical structure and other administrative activities of the editorial. Editorial team explained the various segments of “Dainik Lakmat” and shared detailed insights about the input and output that precisely makes a copy of the newspaper. We also had two interactive sessions with eminent editors.
Importance of reading over watching television, process of printing newspaper such value additional information was provided by Mr. Prasad Khekale.
Mr. Raju Inamdar verbalized difference between print and the digital media, process of fetching news etc.
Many other pertinent questions of students were addressed by these two correspondents.
Overall, it was a great learning experience for the students and they enjoyed it whole-heartedly.
Students of Silver Crest School are extremely thankful to the Principal Mrs. Anuja Yerudkar, Founder Director Mr.S.M.Katkar, Secretary Mr.Jayesh Katkar, Advisor Mr. Khandave for such an opportunity to explore new things.
