Teachers’ Day celebration at Silver Crest School

“It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge.” We celebrate Teachers’ day every year throughout the country on 5th September. This day is dedicated to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan – second President of India. The great academic philosopher, and one of the most well known scholar, president of India and above all a teacher. As a tribute to this great teacher, his birthday has been observed as Teachers’ Day.

The students of Silver Crest School celebrated Teachers’ Day with great enthusiasm.A special program was organized by the students of class X. The program commemorated by paying a tribute to Goddess Saraswati and Dr.Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan followed by mesmerizing songs , music, dance, speech and games for teachers.

Founder Director Mr. S.M.Katkar Sir graced the program with his presence, the students felicitated Sir with a token of love and promised to keep up the legacy and prestige of the institute that he has strived to bring to this great height. While addressing the teachers, Sir appreciated the teachers as they shape the young minds of our nation.

The teachers were felicitated with a token of love by the students. The class X students took charge of all the classes as they represented the teachers. Teachers were glad to receive the shower of love and gratitude on this auspicious day.

The management is overwhelmed by the scintillating gratitude shown by the students.
