Marathi Bhasha Divas or Marathi Language Day was celebrated at Silver Crest School on 27 February 2023 to honour the birth anniversary of famous Marathi poet Vishnu Vaman Shirwadkar, who was popularly known as ‘Kusumagraj’.
The day was also celebrated to recognise and honour the greatness of Marathi literature. Marathi language contains some of the oldest literature of all modern Indo-Aryan languages, dating from about 900 AD.

Chief Guest Mr. Mithun Mane graced the occasion with his presence. He is a renowned Lecturer and Journalist.

Various cultural programmes were organised by the school. The students performed a Marathi Song, Katha Kathan, Abhivachan, Balgeet, etc.

Our Founder Director Mr. Katkar Sir, Secretary Mr. Jayesh Katkar Sir and Zeal Advisor Mr. Khandawe Sir expressed their greetings for the Marathi Diwas. Our Principal Mrs. Anuja Yerudkar Madam  felicitated the prize winners and wished them all the best.
