Musical Education has many benefits like positively impacting a child’s academic performance, developing social skills and providing an outlet for creativity.
Musicians have fantastic hand and eye co-ordination and they are  multitaskers. They use their brain 100%.

Silver Crest School always gives chance to students to enhance this musical skill by participating in various competitions.

This year we had participated in Swar Shankar Musical Fest organised by Indira National School, Wakad.

We are glad to inform that among 30 schools, a student of our school  Miss Srujala Natu of Std VIII, morning shift, bagged 3rd Prize in the Solo Sur Vadya Competition. She presented Raag Bihag Gat, Aalap, Taana on Harmonium. She was accompanied on tabla by Master Shatanand Potekar of her class.

She was awarded a trophy and certificate from Pt. Ajay Pohankar Ji, a Famous and Senior Classical Vocalist.

Both the students were guided by our  Music teacher and Tabla teacher respectively.

Principal ,Silver Crest School,Mrs. Anuja Yerudkar Madam, Founder Director Mr. S M Katkar Sir and Management team congratulated both the students and teachers.
