Zeal Education Society’s Silver Crest School and Junior College celebrated sports day on 9th January on the vast playground at Narhe campus.
The programme began with the arrival of the Chief Guest, Deputy Education Officer Pranita Kumawat and National sports personality as well as coach Anuradha Ursal ma’am. The students displayed a wide array of energetic and bouncy sports events ranging from the March Past, Dance, Aerobics and Yoga presentation. They mesmerized the audience with their energetic performances.
The morning was filled with great excitement and frolicsome atmosphere. The torch of sports, was passed to the stadium by the hands of the best athletes.
Informing about the various help and encouragement received from the government, such as Mazi shala Sundar Shala, Pariksha Pe Charcha, and other Motivational Activities, the Honorable Guest Deputy Education Officer Pranita Kumawat Madam appreciated the various activities implemented in the school. Play a lot, enjoy life and stay fit. Medals make us happy, but gaining skill in a sport is much more enjoyable, said today’s guest, sportsperson Ms. Anuradha Ursal .
Students were felicitated by dignitaries for their achievements in sports. The School principal Mrs Anuja Yerudkar expressed the opinion that sports should be encouraged by appreciating all. Founder- Director Hon’ble Katkar Sir, Secretary Shri. Jayesh Katkar Sir as well as Advisor Shri. Khandve sir congratulated the winners. This program was organized under the guidance of Principal of Silver Crest School Anuja Yerudkar mam and, Principal of Silver Crest Jr. College Jayashree Deshmukh mam.
It was a day filled with sportsmanship, enthusiasm and memories to cherish.
