PMC awarded SCS with First Prize for Waste Management

Silver Crest School bagged First Prize for its contribution towards waste management organised byThe Pune Municipal Corporation

The younger generation today is increasingly eco-conscious and can play an influential role in encouraging their peers and families to get real on efforts to safeguard the environment.

Therefore, SCS had chosen ‘The collection of plastic bottles competition’ as a tool to encourage the students as well as its staff  to play a proactive role in nurturing a culture of collection plastic bottles. This competition was organised by The Pune Municipal Corporation to make sanitary  tribes through public participating. We feel honoured to state that SCS has bagged a Laptop as the first prize at this competition. Coordinating teachers Mrs.Anagha Datar and Mrs. Manjushree Kale took special efforts for this competition under the able guidance of Principal  Anuja Yerudkar Madam.  Guardian Minister Shri. Chandrakantada Patil and Commissioner Shri. Vikram Kumar were present for the Prize Distribution Ceremony. Founder Director S.M Katkar Sir, Secretary Jayesh Katkar Sir and Zeal advisor Pradip Khandve Sir appreciated the efforts put in by the team of SCS.
