No Music, No Life but Know Music, Know Life. Keeping the above sayings in mind, we Silver Crest School are proud and happy to announce that our School bagged 3rd Prize in the Vivek Gupta Interschool Music Competition organised by Vidya Valley School.

Various schools participated in this competition and displayed their talents. The theme of this competition was Classical to Bollywood to Regional Folk.

All the children sang very well as trained. The students and teachers accompanied the children on various instruments like Harmonium, Tabla, Pakhawaj, Flute, Taal etc. It was quite tricky to adjust classical and folk music together in 5 minute time limit. But the children adapted everything so well.

Our school presented Raag Malkauns followed by a Vitthal Bhajan named, Vitthal Aawadi Prembhavo. Students looked fantastic in their costumes and with props beautifully made by the Art Teacher.

Music teacher Mrs. Mita Kanade and Tabla teacher Mr. Sachin Shelke guided the students.

The Principal Mrs. Anuja Yerudkar congratulated the students and the teachers for their outstanding performance and achievement at such a big platform.

The Principal of Vidya Valley School, Mrs. Nalini Sengupta Ma’am, enjoyed our performance and appreciated the students and teachers saying that Music is more important than giving NEET and JEE Exams. The satisfaction we get through Music cannot be found anywhere in the world.

Students had a Divine Experience today. Once again a fantastic Teamwork was displayed today which helped everyone achieve the Prize. Parents supported the students in every possible way too. We congratulate Team SCS once again. Long live Music.
