Keeping up the tradition of producing toppers. Silver Crest School again has recorded an impressive achievement in SSC Board Examination with 100% result . The students ChiragBhagat being the topper with 95%, ParthPuntambekar acquired the second position with 94.80% and SohamBulakh acquired the third position with 93.80%. Two students ChiragBhagat and ManasPathak scored 100% in Maths. The result was the combined efforts of students and management. The Founder Director Mr.S.M.Katkar, Executive Director Jayesh Sir and Principal Mrs.AnujaYerudkar have always been providing their valuable guidance and support which invariably helps the teachers as well as the students and that’s the reason why none of the students have scored below 50%.

Annual Sports Meet at Silver Crest School

Silver crest school celebrated its annual sports meet, a day filled with fervour and excitement experienced amidst thrills, shrills and cheers .The chief guest for the day were Mr. and Mrs. Mohite. The day started off with lighting the torch followed by the Inter – House March past. Principal Mrs. Anuja Yerudkar administered the oath ceremony. The audience next witnessed various displays beginning with the flag song followed by events like yoga, dumbells drill, aerobics and opening of sports meet by releasing the balloons. The chief guests appreciated the students for their dedication and hard work  they also advised them to keep up the sportsman spirit.

The Inaugural function was followed by different games like running race and team events including throw ball, kabaddi, futkri, kho-kho etc. At the end the relay race reverberated with enthusiastic cheers from the spectators. The sports meet concluded note , heralding the  year 2018.

This sports meet was organized under the able guidance of the Founder Director Katkar sir and Executive Director Jayesh Sir.

Digital Art Festival at Silver Crest School

The Digital Art Festival exploring the unknown future of brimming buddies was celebrated at Silver Crest School on 13th January 2018. New technologies are merging the physical world and transforming mankind to be Techno-savy. Keeping the ball rolling in gusto the students of Silver Crest School participated in the Digital Art festival and the competition organised by NIIT. The topics for standards 1st to 5th (Jr.Group) were “My School” & “Festivals of India” and for standards 6th to 8th (Sr.Group) the topics were “My Dream World” , “My India” & “Amusement Park”. Students from both the groups participated enthusiastically in the competition and excelled their talents in a unique and innovative manner.

Founder Director Mr. S.M. Katkar and Executive Director Mr.JayeshKatkar appreciated the techno-talent of all the students. Principal Mrs.AnujaYerudkar expressed her views saying that certainly these students are going to have a bright future in this Digital World.

Sports Day

The  Annual Sports Day of Silver Crest School was held on 20th December 2017 under the  able guidance of the principal Mrs Anuja Yerudkar. Mrs Ujjwala Pingle  Ma’am was the special guest of the day. Principal ma’am and the chief guest saluted to the impressive March past of the Sr.KG students. A parachute dance, an  energizing exercise with balloons were performed by  Jr.KG and Dumbell drill, ring dance performance by Sr.KG set tone for the rest of the event. Once the races began , the air was filled with cheering and tons of encouragement for the kids. The little ones of nursery class were very happy when each and every child got the gift in win-win game. Students of Jr.KG   and Sr.KG competed the races class with great enthusiasm . the day ended with our chief guest Mrs Ujjwala Pingle congratulating the winner honoring with medals and certificates.

Christmas celebration

Silver Crest School celebrated Christmas day with great pomp. The entire pre-primary had come in colourful dress and school was decorated with bells , streamers and a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. Several activities such as Christmas cards were done by the kids . The children were told about the birth of Lord Jesus and the legend of Santa Claus . Tiny toes celebrated the Christmas in their own way enjoying a cake and gifts distributed by Santa . They also sung and danced on the tune of “Jingle Bell “ . The boundless joy of celebrating the festival was simply visible on faces of the tiny tots especially when Santa moved around the kids.

Children’s day

“There is A Brilliant child, locked inside every students”

Children’s day is the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru celebrated as “Children’s day” on 14th November. On this day Silver Crest School arranged a field trip to Rajiv Gandhi Zoo at Katraj to increase awareness of animal among children as it was an interesting experience, children were excited to see all wild animal and new animal Neelgai. It was an amazing and knowledgable  trip for them.

Silver Crest School has been participating in Kirloskar Foundation’s Clean and Beautiful School competition

Zeal Education Society’s  Silver Crest School  has been participating in Kirloskar Foundation’s Clean and Beautiful School competition since last 10 years .

Our school has secured five prizes and has been  rated as five star.

Keeping up the record the school has bagged first prize for the year 2017-18. Founder Director S. M. Katkar and Principal Anuja Yerudkar  congratulated  the Students and the school staff and promised to inculcate such social values in the future generation.

Smart girls workshop

Pune District organisation & Pune Indian Jain Organisation had taken teacher’s training on “Smart Girl” from 27/11/17 to 28/11/17 in Sanas School.

The session was guided by Dr. Awanti Dhadphale

The following points were explained self-defence communication skill, correct decision making, selection of peer groups.

Silver Crest School has given a valuable guidance to the girls.
