Red Day at Silver Crest School

Red colour day was held at silver crest school under the valuable guidance of our founder director Mr. S.M. Katkar and our respected Principal Mrs. Rachana Tawre .The main objective behind celebration of red colour was the get knowledge about diversified objects and food items having red colour. Red colour is the symbol of joy, love and sacrifice. .Our little angels were dressed in red outfits. The day was full of fun with creative and exciting activities .Teachers explained about red colour objects .Students brought red colour objects and spoke few lines on it .The day was full of enthusiasm.

Raksha Bandhan

Raksha Bandhan was celebrated with full enthusiasm at Silver Crest School under the valuable guidance of our Founder Director Mr. S. M. Katkar and our respected principal Mrs.Rachana Tawre .The main objective behind the celebration was to let the students understand the beautiful bonding between a brother and sister . The name “Raksha Bandhan” suggest the “Bond of Protection” children helped the teachers in making bright and colourful rachis .Girls from all the classes tied rachis to the helping staff of school .The main motive of developing healthy relationship among the fellow students was achieved by the celebration of “Raksha Bandhan” festival.

Mothers Child Day

In Silver Crest School the mothers child day was celebrated blissfully and joyfully with the enthusiastic mothers and their children .It was celebrated to honour mothers for their motherhood , maternal bonds and their influence of the society.

It was the time of celebration with different creative activities like collage, Lamp decoration ,rangoli etc. This day was celebrated to understand the true essence of their mom angels by showing gratitude to them. As the mom angels are their best friends, secret-shares , philosophers etc. Mom who plays different roles in their life to make it smoother and easy going .As she always showers them with love when they need the most .It was the great time for the children to spend the time with their angels and enjoy the grand programme doing the various activities.

Through this programme our Founder Director Mr. S.M. Katkar and Principal Mrs. Rachana Tawre wanted to give the message of thanking the God “For the worlds most beautiful gifts -mother “ without whose support and guidelines we would be nothing in our life. We should be always thankful and should respect this gift.

Market Day

Silver Crest School arranged vegetable market at school under the valuable guidance of Founder Director Mr. S. M. Katkar and our respected principal Mrs. Rachana Tawre .The main objective behind the celebration was to educate the children about the importance of vegetables in regular diet and how it is better than junk food .Teachers explain in detail about their taste ,colour and texture .Students got an experience of selling and buying vegetables .The kids also promoted the use of cloth or paper bag instead of plastic .Children sang vegetable rhymes with their teachers and enjoy the special day by making different types of Sandwich .The day was full of fun and joy.

Creative Art by Left Hander’s

August 13 is designated International Lefthander’s Day .As the name suggest ,it is meant to promote awareness of the inconveniences faced by left hander’s in a predominantly right handed world. It celebrates their uniqueness and differences ,who are from seven to ten percent of the worlds population . Thousands of left handed people in today’s society have to adapt to use right handed tools and objects .

Silver Crest School celebrated this significant day with great enthusiasm .The left handed students took part in competition like drawing , best out of waste etc. Founder Director Mr. S.M. Katkar appreciated the dedication of the creative and entrepreneurial left hander’s Principal MRs. Rachana Tawre is also a left hander she possesses a multi talented personality who can handle things with both her hands .The winners were awarded and appreciated for their continuous efforts .

Green Day

Gokulashtami is the birthday of Lord Krishna , which is celebrated enthusiastically all over India in the month of shravan on the ‘Ashtami’.

Silver Crest School celebrated Gokulashtami traditionally by worshipping Lord Krishna .Founder Director Mr. S.M. Katkar and Principal Mrs. Rachana Tawre performed pooja and encouraged our little angels to take part in the rituals .All the students were looking very cute in the costume of Radha and Krishna.

This year Silver Crest School celebrated on eco-friendly Dahi-Handi to avoid wastage of water and gave the message of “SAVE WATER”

All the teachers had decorated cradle of Krishna which is known as “Palna ” with different and beautiful flowers .Krishnajanma was celebrated by singing different songs and then children performed a graceful dance Silver Crest School always pass on an important message through the celebration of traditional / cultural events.

Ganesh Festival

Ganesh Festival is the Hindu festival celebrated in honour of god Ganesha .It is celebrated on the 4th day of the first forthnight in the month of Bhadrapada according to Hindu Calendar .

Celebrations are traditionally held in Silver Crest School under the valuable guidance of founder Director Mr. S.M. Katkar and our honourable principal Mrs. Rachana Tawre .

Our tiny tots ware colourful dresses for this celebration worship of God Ganesha had done by our beloved Principal Mrs. Rachana Tawre .Teachers gave the information about this festival .Children performed songs and shlokas in this occasion .Our school had also arranged shlok and dance competition on this auspicious day. Children performed wonderfully to make this day special.

Father Child Day

On 23rd Jan our preprimary children of Silver Crest School celebrated Father Child Day Under the valuable guidance of Mr. S.M.Katkar and our respected Principal Mrs. Rachana Tawre .The theme for this celebration was the 3R’s Mantra i.e. Reduce, Recycle and Reuse .All fathers gave an overwhelming enthusiastic performance with their children showing their inner creativity .The day was full of fun and colourful joy.

Deep Amavasya

Silver Crest School which is known for its modern techniques to inculcate tradition in education ,has celebrated Deep Amavasya in the school on 14thAugust, 2015.Deep pooja is an auspicious day in the month of Ashadha as it is a new moon day .Deep spreads light in our life .It is believed that the radiations of the light of the diyas drive out all the evil and bad powers and welcome new brightness with positive energy in our life .the worship of diya helps to seek the blessing of Ashta Laxmis.

Our tiny tots had decorated diyas in so beautiful manner and in different shapes with the help of their parents . Our school had exhibited all diyas made by the children .Diyas were surrounded by flowers and rangoli. Pictures of different diyas were displaced on the soft board by teachers.

Founder Director Mr. S,M. Katkar and Principal Mrs. Rachana Tawre made this occasion wonderful by sharing their valuable thoughts on worship of goddess on Deep Pooja.

Christmas Celebration

Silver Crest School celebrated Christmas with great pomp under the valuable guidance of Founder Director Mr. S.M. Katkar and Principal Mrs. Rachana Tawre.

The whole school wore a festive look and was beautifully decorated . Scenery of Birth of Jesus was displayed by the teachers. Christmas tree was also decorated with bells and stars ,stocking and gifts .Children were dressed up in colourful and fancy manner to enjoy the party .Children made greeting cards , sung poems and they were dancing together .It bought us a time of happiness and togetherness.

At the end of the party children enjoyed delicious treats and gifts were distributed by their favourite “Santa Claus.”
