On 16th September the pre-primary children of Silver crest School celebrated Green Day under the valuable guidance of our Founder Director Mr. S.M.Katkar and our respected Principal Mrs. Rachana Tawre .Green is a colour of nature and symbol of prosperity ,freshness and progress .students were asked to come dressed in green colour. The day began with reciting songs ,rhymes related to green colour. Children performed various craft activities and had a short discussion on green objects .The highlight of the day was plantation of trees by students .we taught the children the slogan “Save trees , save environment ” and explain the importance of tree plantation.
Ganesh Festival is the Hindu festival celebrated in honour of god Ganesha .It is celebrated on the 4th day of the first forthnight in the month of Bhadrapada according to Hindu Calendar .
Celebrations are traditionally held in Silver Crest School under the valuable guidance of founder Director Mr. S.M. Katkar and our honourable principal Mrs. Rachana Tawre .
Our tiny tots ware colourful dresses for this celebration worship of God Ganesha had done by our beloved Principal Mrs. Rachana Tawre .Teachers gave the information about this festival .Children performed songs and shlokas in this occasion .Our school had also arranged shlok and dance competition on this auspicious day. Children performed wonderfully to make this day special.
Silver Crest School arranged vegetable market at school under the valuable guidance of Founder Director Mr. S. M. Katkar and our respected principal Mrs. Rachana Tawre .The main objective behind the celebration was to educate the children about the importance of vegetables in regular diet and how it is better than junk food .Teachers explain in detail about their taste, color and texture .Students got an experience of selling and buying vegetables .The kids also promoted the use of cloth or paper bag instead of plastic .Children sang vegetable rhymes with their teachers and enjoy the special day by making different types of Sandwich .The day was full of fun and joy.
